I am thrilled to be presenting my work as an Emerging Artist at the NCECA conference this year!  I will be officially participating in the following events:

Tuesday, March 24 Gallery EXPO Opening Reception, 6:30-8:00pm

Wednesday, March 25 Gallery Talk at Emerging Artist space, 4:20pm

Thursday, March 26 "Maintaining an Authentic Voice", panel discussion, 5:15-6:15pm

Saturday, March 27 Emerging Artist Lecture: one day, late in the afternoon… 9:00-10:30am   I will discuss work from my exhibition, “one day, late in the afternoon…” Using a minimal color palette to emphasize physical form, O’Briant manipulates atmosphere, emotion and memory. The process of coiling and pinching the clay lends humanity to the surfaces of the objects, which are otherwise inert."
